Review of Vivo T30 Pro
Introduction
Hey guys! Today, we are discuss the much-anticipated Vivo T3 Pro. Starting with the box it has the typical Vivo branding in front and upon opening it the first thing you will see is the smartphone itself. Under the phone there are some standard accessories including a clear case and some documentation. Moving those aside we find an 80W charger, a SIM ejector tool and a Type-A to Type-C cable. Now, let dive into what the Vivo T3 Pro looks like and how it performs.
Design
The Vivo T3 Pro comes in a beautiful Vegan Leather finish. The phone' golden frame around the camera adds a touch of elegance to the overall design. It is a fully curved design and I must say, if you are looking for a phone under ₹25,000. this could be a solid choice.
Now, lets talk about the design in more detail. The Sandstone Orange is just one of the colors. there is also an Emerald Green option available if you prefer something different. A standout feature of the design is its slimness—the phone is just 7.49mm thick making it one of the thinnest in its price segment. Despite its slim profile it feels quite lightweight at 185 grams. which is impressive considering it packs a 5500mAh battery.
Another thing worth noting is that the phone comes with an IP54 rating, which means it protected against dust and splashes. Overall, the Vegan Leather not only adds to the grip but also enhances the in-hand feel of the phone making it both stylish and practical.
Display
Speaking of the design, lets move to the display. The Vivo T3 Pro features a 3D curved display with a 6.77-inch AMOLED panel. Given its price, the bezels are relatively thin and you get a 120Hz refresh rate ensuring smooth scrolling and gameplay. One of the standout features of this display is its brightness—Vivo claims a peak brightness of 1300 nits. In practical terms, this means the display performs exceptionally well even in bright outdoor conditions.
The high peak brightness makes HDR content look amazing and if you are into streaming or gaming. this display will definitely impress you. Additionally, the phone comes with support for HDR10+ content. which is another bonus in this price segment.
Battery
I have already mentioned the impressive 5500mAh battery that powers the Vivo T3 Pro. Coupled with the 80W fast charger included in the box. the battery performance is quite solid. With this large battery capacity and fast charging. you can expect the phone to last all day with moderate use and even if you are a heavy user. the fast charging will keep you going with minimal downtime.
Performance
Under the hood, the Vivo T3 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. which is known for its efficiency and power. For this review. I am using the variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The RAM is LPDDR4X and the storage is UFS 2.1. While I would have preferred UFS 3.0 for faster read and write speeds and the overall performance is still quite commendable.
For those interested in benchmarks the Vivo T3 Pro scores around 827,000 on AnTuTu and around 3,160 on Geekbench multi-core. which are solid numbers for a mid-range phone. The phone also features a liquid cooling system that helps manage temperatures during heavy usage.
In terms of gaming, the phone handles games like BGMI on HDR Extreme and Call of Duty: Mobile at 90fps with ease. I tested Call of Duty for about 20 minutes and the gameplay was smooth with no noticeable frame drops. Additionally, features like 4D vibration and motion control enhance the gaming experience it making the Vivo T3 Pro a great choice for gamers.
Software
The Vivo T3 Pro runs on Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 13. Vivo has been improving its software over time, and now they offer a 2-3 year update policy. which is great news for users who want to keep their phones up to date. The software includes some AI features like AI Eraser. which uses generative AI to remove unwanted objects from photos and AI Photo Enhance. which improves the details and contrast in your pictures.
However, there are some pre-installed apps that you might not need. but the good news is you can uninstall them easily.
Camera
Now, lets talk about the camera setup. The Vivo T3 Pro comes with a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a flicker sensor. The main camera performs well for its price segment especially in terms of HDR processing and color accuracy. The photos I took had good detail and the overall image quality was quite pleasing.
The front camera is 16MP and delivers decent selfies. One of the highlights is that the phone can record 4K 30fps videos and the best part is that stabilization works even at 4K. which is not something you find often in this price range.
Conclusion
After testing the Vivo T3 Pro across various departments, we have come to realize that this phone performs solidly across the board. Whether it is design, display, performance or battery life.the Vivo T3 Pro delivers on its promises. For users looking for a phone in the ₹25,000 price range. this could be an excellent choice.
The base variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is priced at ₹25,000. while the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is available for ₹27,000. Considering what you are getting for the price. this phone is definitely worth considering.
